THE Boy's Birthday

The Boy turned 9 this weekend. He loves to hear his birth story - I recounted all that happened leading up to his birth and then after. I think he just loves hearing how, just as now, he was the center of attention.

We played baseball on Saturday. We lost. Go figure. But again, we were only down one run. AND we only had 9 kids. Attendence is a big problem for us. Jack and Tommy got to go to Chuck E Cheese on Sat night and then Jack stayed over at Tommy's house overnight. (Tommy doesn't like to stay over anywhere - he gets scared still)
:-) Aunt Jill came up and we went shopping and garage saling. We always have a good time.

Bill's gearing up for his yearly garage sale. I'm getting rid of a lot of furniture and clutter. LOVING *that* feeling - HATING my garage looking SO bad.

I was home on Friday and Mabel and I were hanging out in the living room when we heard this HUGE bang outside. *I* went to the window and looked outside - *Mabel* howled once and scooted her big body under the couch. I could be killed and she wouldn't care as long as she could get under the couch. Sadie would have been right next to me looking for what made the noise. Oh, Mabel.

Sally's been having more problems in the bathroom. She didn't go to CCheese because she pooped in her pants. We have noticed that she can tell us exactly where she was when she pooped so we have decided that she is ABLE to control this and thus we have started to punish her. The tricky part is finding something that you CAN withhold AND that means something to her. School is a great thing - BUT - I have to be able to call in to work IF she does poop. It's a fine-line game, that's for sure.
