Well, we (I) gave in.....

We are now the proud owners of a pool. No, not a *real* pool but a 10ft round pool. You know, the blue ones with the filter. I said I'd never do it - but then again I never thought I'd have a Sally. And because she came home in tears and said that one of the neighbors wouldn't let her swim I sent Bill to the store and said "just do it". :-) Something about that girl - she asks for SO little that she usually get what she wants.

Now if Jack would have asked it would have never happened. Poor Jack - he's so gypped when it comes to spoiling. He asks for SO much and nothing is EVER enough that we hardly even try anymore with him. That's probably going to cost him some money in therapy. ;-) (or us in bail)

So we sent them to the neighbor's to play and set to work putting up the sucker. Think toys at Christmas on a LARGE scale - like 900 gallons scale. So now we wait while our house drinks down 900 gallons from the Village and see how the thing goes. We're *hoping* it's not *too* un-level.

I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to a little float time tomorrow. :-) I'm SUCH a hypocrite. :-)

My mom has one of these type of pools and my sister does as well. I do not dare own a pool. I fear I will be sitting on the toilet for 5 seconds and find my son face down in the pool. I figure he can swim over at the relatives when we go over there. They get their swim in and I am not living with fear. Good luck and have a fun summer swim:)
