The Eyes Have It

S went to her first eye appt today. She did VERY well. No need for glasses. Might be min. stigmatism - but nothing to worry about right now. J played in the waiting room and was quite good. As I sat there watching the two "work the crowd" - it occurred to me that the two together would make a great polotition team. He gets along with everyone - doesn't know an enemy and she remembers everyone's name. It's quite commical.

So we hussled home and litterally inhaled our lunch - picked up or friend Juan and headed for school. They were all glad to see her. And she was very glad to be there. I'm not sure who likes school more - her or him.

I tested in J's room yesterday. I'm sure it's because I tested him - but I was amazed at not only does he know the stuff - but he's quick. It's vrey sad to see where some of the kids are though. They're so cute. I really enjoying helping out.

Tax season starts soon - I will be working full time by Feb 5. I'm excited - but not. It's so hard to keep up with the house now - let alone when I have even less time at home. :-( Also, we're looking into night time swimming lessons. Since our little problem with JBSRA we're going to look into "reg." swimming lessons for S. I'm really anxious to see how she does.

Gonna try and put up the tree this weekend. The Bears don't play till Monday night - so I think we'll be ok. I am going to miss my Monday night meeting though, so I can see it. There are priorities in this world. :-)

Ran accross a book the other day titled: Grow Your Own Monster. I could have written that book. I definitely am growing my own Monster. He is obsessed with the Advent calander and who opens when and what number package goes with it. Ugghh. Sometimes Christmas is really just one big pain in the butt. :-)

Missed Nancy at Group yesterday. S did very well. The boys and S made a gingerbread house and I was told that she really did well. No screetchy voice and no mother hen stuff. She CAN do it - she just looses it sometimes.
