There's no school today. When Sally woke up and I told her - she so matter of factly turned to me and said "that sucks". I was really taken aback. After choking down my laugh I told her it was better to say "that stinks". At any rate it's a far cry from the meltdowns we had last year when there was no school. I think she's VERY much more at ease about things this year. I credit her team for this. Mrs Legner says her class is not all about schedule and that has done Sally some real good this year. She's learned to roll with the flow.
*I* would love to have a meltdown. I do NOT want to be at home today. I get them from the 23-the 1st!!!! Isn't that punishment enough??? Between the children and the animals I'll be ready for heavy booze by noon.
