Sally waited for me to get some laundry done and for Daddy to come home and then we all went for a "swim". :-) The pool is PERFECT for us. We all 3 played "letters". Sally names a letter and when it's your turn you have to think of a word that starts with that letter. She's getting better with the alphabet too. We had such a nice time just floating and playing. Jack missed out - he was at Tommy's. :-)
At camp yesterday, there was a little boy who got hurt at the pool. The ambulance was called and everyone was asked to get out. Sally somehow got it in her head that it was Jack. Her aide said she started crying.
Jack was asked to go swimming at Tommy's last night. There was to be the 4 neighborhood boys there - a full pool. Sally was not asked. She of course cried. Jack was SO upset that she was crying that he *bribed* her with his left over change so she could get ice-cream from the ice-cream man! Even after I told him it was ok (I didn't really want her to go anyway - those boys are rough!) He was clearly upset by her crying.
I'm so happy they seem to have such a good relationship. I pray it continues as the grow up.
